One Response to Photojournalism or Visual Anthropology?

  1. Andrea says:

photo journalism.maybe visual anthropology, if you chose to study the ‘culture’ of photo journalism as a larger discourse about NGOs, the foreigner’s eye, this type of thing. i just think these photos say more about western culture or photography than anything else. or, rather, they have a specific genre. (VA, we know, can’t get it’s act together to develop a genre, at least according to one of these people we read.)
